After the release of Farpoint's 2004 album, FROM DREAMING TO DREAMING, artist David Frain asked the band to remix the closing track, "Lux Universum," to create an extendid mix to be used in his CGI movie, LIGHT SPEED DREAMING. The band complied, adding in some additional instrumentation and the vocals of Jennifer Meeks. The resulting 9-minute-plus version of the song has never been released on cd, and is here available now for download for the first time. The ambient/space rock sound of "Lux Universum" is just one of many colors on Farpoint's diverse musical palette.
